Building my own portfolio website was one of the most rewarding projects I have undertaken as a Computer Science undergraduate. This site is more than just a webpage — it is a reflection of my skills, personality, and growth as a developer. I started by planning the structure and sections I wanted to showcase: a hero introduction, blog, about me, resume, services, skills, projects, and a contact section. For the technology stack, I chose HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript — the core web technologies I am most comfortable with, integrating Bootstrap, Owl Carousel, and AOS for animations. The Projects section features a dynamic modal system with tech stack, duration, features, and links to GitHub and live demos. The site is deployed and hosted on GitHub Pages.

I had the opportunity to participate in an Industry Visit to the IFS office located at Orion City, organized for students of the Informatics Institute of Technology as part of professional development exposure to the IT industry. During the session, I interacted with industry experts, explored the company environment, and learned about real-world software development practices, career paths, industry expectations, and the skills required to succeed in the modern IT workplace. This experience helped bridge the gap between academic learning and real industry practices as I prepare for my future career in the IT industry.

Stepping into the IIT Career Day 2026 was more than just attending an event it was a defining moment in my journey as an aspiring software engineer. This event brought together leading companies, industry professionals, and ambitious students, creating an environment filled with opportunities, innovation, and inspiration. During the career day, I engaged directly with industry professionals, showcased my skills and academic projects, understood real world expectations in the tech industry, and experienced real interview scenarios.
